Dial in your nutrition with nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy. Nutrition counseling is beneficial for anyone looking to make changes to their diet. Medical nutrition therapy is appropriate for those looking to use diet and lifestyle changes to help manage a disease or condition. Many of our clients seek nutrition care for ADHD, depression, anxiety, type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, hyperthyroid, hypothyroid, high cholesterol, negative body image, food allergies, food sensitivities, IBS, IBD, eosinophilic esophagitis, and GERD.
Counseling starts with a 75-minute initial consultation, followed by bi-monthly or monthly 45-minute check-ins, and unlimited messaging through a secure HIPAA-compliant portal. At the initial consultation, we will review your goals, current health status and medical history. You’ll leave with 3-5 tasks to immediately start working towards your goals. From this information, we will develop a customized long-term plan broken into monthly tasks. We will then meet at 45-minute follow-up sessions, where we will discuss your progress on your monthly tasks and fine-tune as needed.
Most of our clients work with us for 6 months, but we can tailor your plan to your needs.
We work with all ways of eating including plant-based, kosher, halal, gluten-free, and allergen-free. We will tailor our recommendations to your needs and goals. If you received a diet recommendation from your doctor or other healthcare provider, we can help you incorporate it into your day-to-day life.
