Caster Semenya This is a complex case that will have repercussions across other sports and governing boards. I don’t agree with the ruling. We are starting to learn about variations in gender and those should be celebrated, not regulated. I understand the viewpoint that the higher testosterone gives an advantage. Here’s the thing, sport isn’t fair. Those with the means, to include coaches, facilities, training, nutrition, and yes, genetics, have an advantage. We have to find a better way to handle cases like this one.
