Is Your Wellness Practice Just a Diet in Disguise? Untangling wellness from diet culture is something that took me a very long time personally and ultimately led me to change my practice to be based on intuitive eating principles. If this is something that you struggle with, try asking yourself your motives for making a food or exercise choice. If it stems from punishment, ask yourself what would give you joy instead.
This Epic Feast is how Ethiopians Celebrate Easter. I love learning how other cultures celebrate holidays through food. Coming from an Italian-American family, most holidays involved lasagna or manicotti, and Easter was no exception.
What I’m Cooking
My favorite fruit salad. I like to use a combo of cherries, plums, blueberries and pluots. When I am short on time or ingredients, I just combine the fruit and mint, leaving out the orange juice and honey. Still very tasty!
Green minestrone. The fusion of coriander and fennel seeds with spring veggies and miso is tasty and refreshing
